Works prepare nine streets in the residential and tourist area of Adeje

Tágara Street, located in the neighborhood of Las Torres; Rafael Puig, Venezuela, Panama, Uruguay, Paraguay and Eugenio Domínguez avenues, as well as Cuba and Guatemala streets, in Costa Adeje, are subject to conditioning, improvement and resurfacing works that take place in the residential area and the tourist destination Costa Adeje. The works correspond to the maintenance work of the existing infrastructures, the roads and from urban mobility itself, in the study phase throughout the municipal area.

These works are of great importance for Adeje and represent an investment of 590,000 euros, and will last an estimated month and a half, in the case of the resurfacing of the streets of Costa Adeje, and six months for the remodeling of Calle Tágara.

Esther Rivero, Councilor for Works and Services, alludes to the need for these actions and the inconvenience they cause, for which she apologizes accordingly. The mayor of Adejera states that the state of these streets requires these works and highlights that “they will greatly improve the mobility of citizens» and, likewise, with these interventions «we will contribute to avoid the collapse of the internal communication routes of the municipality».

In Costa Adeje

The actions in the different streets of the tourist area of Costa Adeje consist of essentially resurfacing all the roads. However, specific actions are being carried out on sidewalks and the rainwater drainage network is also being cleaned, in addition to reinforcing and improving the signs on these streets.

As for Tágara Street, located in the section between Ayyo and Barranco de Las Torres avenues, the works planned for it, in addition to providing solutions to improve mobility, will provide the road with the necessary requirements for safe use. safe for both vehicles and pedestrians. In this sense, the municipal government informs that the street will be provided with sidewalks, public lighting, landscaping, irrigation and drainage of rainwater, in addition to providing solutions to the traffic jams that occur on Barranco de Las Torres avenue.

It is worth mentioning that Tágara street brings together circumstances such as the presence of the barracks of the Civil Guardthe industrial commercial area and a residential park, so that the works to adapt the road will benefit, once completed, the population residing in the area as well as those who work or come to this environment attracted by industrial activity, such and as the government highlights.

This set of works is part of the plan developed by the Adeje City Council for the adaptation and optimization of degraded spaces.
