SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 24. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The spokeswoman for the Mixed Group, Vidina Espino, criticized this Thursday the “passivity” of the Government of the Canary Islands to deal with the rise in prices and the increase in poverty in the archipelago, with 40,000 more people since the Legislature began.

On the last day of the ‘Debate on the State of Nationality’, she warned the quadripartite groups that she is going to continue defending the canaries even if they ‘shout’ because she has the “legitimacy” to be a deputy.

“The interests of the canaries are above shouting and insults,” he commented.

He has also demanded the elimination of the hydrocarbon tax and direct aid for families and companies because many Canarians “do not make ends meet”, at a time when poverty has grown by 40,000 people since the arrival of the ‘Pacto de las Flores’ ‘ to the power.

Espino has criticized the Ministry of Social Rights for governing “with its back” to society and requested that operations not be suspended and that the ratio of psychologists be considerably increased in the face of the increase in mental health problems.

He has requested that each public university receive 5 million euros so as not to close services and a plan to improve educational centers and with respect to La Palma, that a consortium be created so that the victims are heard.

He has also asked that the agreement with the strike committee of public employees in abuse of temporary employment be respected, that the distribution of migrant minors be “mandatory by law” and that the central government comply with the UN resolutions on Western Sahara .

Likewise, he has requested an external audit of ministries and public companies to eliminate “superfluous expenses” in the case of the million euros in advisers to the regional government or the 15,000 euros in “comilonas” with businessmen of the Deputy Minister of the Presidency, Antonio Olivera.

Espino recalled that he left Cs for the “betrayal” of not supporting the REF and accused Torres of governing with a “book turncoat” like the vice president, Román Rodríguez, who left CC to found his own party.
