SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 23. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Board of the Parliament of the Canary Islands qualified this Thursday, after the end of the second day of General Debate on the State of Canarian Nationality 2022, the resolution proposals presented by the seven parliamentary groups.
Thus, the 322 registered proposals have been accepted because they are consistent with the issues discussed, as established in article 187 of the Chamber’s Rules of Procedure.
The president of the Parliament, Gustavo Matos, recalls in a note that each group could present a maximum of 46 proposals, as agreed at a meeting of the Board of Spokespersons and the seven groups of the Chamber have registered that maximum allowed.
In the case of the Mixed Group, the deputy Vidina Espino has registered 23 proposals and the deputy Ricardo Fernández (Cs) another 23.
The plenary session resumes this Thursday at 9:00 a.m. with a single shift of 30 minutes per group for the defense of these proposals –in the case of the Mixed Group there will be two shifts of 15 minutes–.
The order of the groups’ interventions is that of the presentation of the proposals, that is: Popular Group, Gomera Socialist Group Group, Mixed Group, Nueva Canarias Group, Sí Podemos Canarias Group, Nationalist Group and Socialist Group and then the vote will take place in that same order.
