Members of the Local Police reinforce security outside the nightclubs in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Agents of the Local police Nine false DNIs intervened after as many young people tried to access the interior of nightclubs in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

It happened last weekend, specifically on Saturday, when members of the Local police capitalina were notified by the security personnel of one of the nightclubs in Santa Cruz de Tenerife that eight minors, all of them between 17 and 15 years old, tried to access the premises with false identity documents.

As a result, the young people were transferred to police stations and their parents were notified, who had to pick them up at the police headquarters. The minors said that they had acquired this false documentation for 15 euros each, in order to be able to access these entertainment venues.

Consequences of trying to access clubs in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with false documentation

In this regard, the Spanish Penal Code is very clear, typifying the forgery of public, official and commercial documents as a crime. In fact, article 392 specifies that “a prison sentence of six months to one year and a fine of three to six months will be imposed on anyone who knowingly uses a false identity document.”

Trying to access clubs in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with another person’s documentation also has consequences

The Penal Code dedicates article 400 bis to the crime of improper use of another person’s identity documents.

In this article 400 bis, the penalty to be imposed is equated to the cases of article 392, that is, whoever uses another person’s DNI without your authorization.
