City Council and Entemanser improve the water supply to El Pozo and El Jaral

The Isora nuclei of El Jaral and El Pozo will have a better water supply service. The City Council and Entemanser, the company awarded the service, are developing the works that, worth 124,000 euros, will benefit 80 homes and that will consist of placing two larger-caliber pipes for each of the towns and reducing valves to modulate the pressure.

“It is a very important work because the supply was being restricted due to the small diameter of the pipes and the numerous ruptures due to excess pressure,” explains Pedro Antonio Gómez, Entemanser’s Head of Production in the West Tenerife area.

The Isorano councilor for Municipal Services, Bruno Domínguez, agrees in explaining that “these are very necessary works”, stressing that they are part “of a municipal plan so that the gallery water reaches the nuclei of the upper area in the best conditions, such as are the cases of El Pozo and El Jaral». A plan that already benefits the population of the towns of Acojeja and Chío.
