The Island Councilor for Mobility and President of MetrotenerifeEnrique Arriaga, explains that the Line 1 It will operate uninterruptedly at dawn on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, between 00:00 and 06:00 in the morning after the relaxation of the measures against Covid-19. The Cabildo company activates the service with a frequency of 20 and 30 minutes. Arriaga points out that “in view of the progressive relaxation of health restrictions, especially in restaurants and nightlife, the trams on Line 1 resume circulation at dawn on weekends and holidays.” He recalls that the tram service It already operates at one hundred percent of its capacity and that the use of the mask is still mandatory on public transport.
Friday through Saturday nights there will be a trolley car every 30 minutes until 06:00 a.m. and at dawn from Saturday to Sunday, as well as on holidays, the frequency will be 20 minutes, from 00:00 a.m. to 01:00 a.m., and 30 minutes until 06:00 a.m. hours. Once the night service ends, Line 1 will continue to circulate with daytime frequencies for weekends.
