The Treasury Department of El Rosario, headed by the first deputy mayor, Sara Cabello, informs the public of the fiscal calendar established by the Tenerife Tax Consortium for this year in the municipal district. She does so by editing a complete brochure with the voluntary payment deadlines, payment methods and all the information related to municipal taxes and fees. The councilor highlights that this year “we are resuming face-to-face service at the Revenue Service without the need to make an appointment, something that until now was essential due to the pandemic.”

The calendar began on January 5 with the water supply rate and will continue on March 8 with the Vehicle Tax; on May 6, with the Real Estate Tax (IBI) and will continue on September 16 with the rate of the fords, the Tax on Economic Activities and the rate of garbage collection. The information brochure will arrive by post at each home in the coming weeks and can also be downloaded from the municipal website (www.ayuntamientoelrosario.org). Likewise, for another year, as has been the case since 2018, taxes, fees and public prices are frozen again. “As far as possible, we will continue to allow a low fiscal pressure without this affecting the correct provision of Public Services,” says Sara Cabello, who emphasizes that “it has been five years without raising taxes or fees, something that It has been especially important for the taxpayer during these years of pandemic in which the purchasing power of many people has decreased.

The Treasury intends to bring tax information closer to the population of the municipal area, for greater convenience when it comes to knowing the fiscal calendar, as well as the points and procedures that are available to them to be able to make their income. Those who want more information can contact the taxpayer service telephone line 922 01 01 60 (extension 1075), where doubts about tax data in the municipality can be answered, while the Tax Consortium of Tenerife maintains its centralized services at the telephone number 922 20 82 00. Through the internet, queries can be made at the Treasury area email address: [email protected].
