A man has suffered moderate burns in various parts of his body after a fire broke out in the kitchen of his home in Callao Salvaje, in Adeje, sources from 112 reported.
The incident took place at 9:45 p.m. this Sunday, when the Emergency Coordination Center received notice of a fire on the third floor of a building on La Tosca street.
Members of the Tenerife Fire Brigade confirmed that the fire had originated in the kitchen and proceeded to extinguish it and ventilate the building.
According to the information provided by the professionals of the Canarian Emergency Service, the affected person, a 52-year-old man, presented moderate burns in various parts of the body at the initial moment of assistance.
He was transferred by basic life support ambulance to Hospital del Sur.
