SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 25 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has declared a situation of alert due to winds on the summits of Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Palma and the islands of El Hierro and La Gomera.
Thus, a strong northeast wind is expected with a probability of very strong gusts of up to 90 km/h.
In addition, without giving rise to warning, it is expected that there will be persistent rainfall in the form of showers and of a moderate nature in the interior of the western islands and Gran Canaria.
