SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 24 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Governing Council authorized this Thursday the expenditure of 2,760,000 euros for the lease of an industrial warehouse in the Polígono Costa Sur, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to locate the central warehouse of the University Hospital Complex of Canary Islands.
The ship has the necessary dimensions to house, in addition to the central warehouse, other non-health activities of the hospital complex that may be transferred.
With this relocation, sufficient space will be freed up in the main hospital building to undertake the expansion of the Pharmacy Service and the placement of automatic medicine dispensing cabinets, the bidding for which will begin shortly.
The lease will be for a minimum period of five years, subject to annual extensions until the maximum legal term of ten years has been fulfilled.
