A crane has towed a recreational boat on Sunday night that ran aground in the morning on the coast of Candelaria. As reported on Twitter by the journalist María R. Cruz, “the shallow depth has not led to it being able to pull up from the sea.”

The boat left from the La Calera sports dock in Güimar, “but an engine failure left it adrift” until it finally ran aground in the Caletillas area.
