In the words of the general director of Tourist Infrastructure, Fernando Miñarro, “it is a question of contemplating the example of how the integration of the coastal landscape into the city is carried out through the spatial improvement of its connection routes. It is useless to have wonderful places if our visitors do not have adequate access to them. We always forget that the important thing is not only the place, but how to get there.”

The Island Director of Tourism, Laura Castro, detailed how the Cabildo de Tenerife has put together an investment program in tourist equipment and infrastructure that is having as a result Substantial improvements to the island’s coastline and the surroundings of the main tourist centers, which complement the quality accommodation offer. “We are clear that the efforts in promotion and connectivity must go hand in hand with a tourism strategy that differentiates us and that enhances the virtues of the island as a destination, with investments, such as this one, in the improvement of urban spaces, which are aligned with sustainability and which the citizens of Tenerife can also enjoy”.
