The Cabildo will train 200 unemployed people in new employment niches. The island councilor for the area, Carmen Luz Baso, explains that the program, managed by Fifede, includes thirteen initiatives related to green employment and digitization, totaling nearly 4,000 hours of training and 840 non-work practices in companies.
The project starts on first quarter of the year and its axes are sustainable development, renewable energy and digital transformation. Emerging sectors with wide possibilities of access to the labor market. With a budget of 500,000 euros, it is co-financed by the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN). In a few days the registration period for the first course will open, which consists of 550 hours, linked to electricity in homes, photovoltaic self-consumption and vehicle recharging points.
