The La Orotava Employment and Local Development Agency (AEDL) opens the registration period for the free courses that will be taught next September. They are aimed at people registered in the municipality. This program offers specific training in subjects related to the demand of the labor market, such as the professional card for masonry construction (22 hours); effective job search techniques (20 hours); Data Protection Law (30 hours); job orientation for people with disabilities (44 hours); chainsaw handling (20 hours) and school cafeteria monitor, food hygiene and allergens (24 hours).
The municipal government establishes that all people who are interested in pre-registration must request an appointment by calling 922324444 (extensions 2502 and 2504), complying with the measures established by the pandemic.
The councilor for the area, Deisy Ramos, recalls that the La Orotava Employment and Local Development Agency (AEDL) is the Municipal Office for Aid, Advice and Support for both unemployed and employed people. It does so through the implementation of different programs of Occupational Training, Socio-Labor Insertion and Promotion of the Business Initiative, «all with the ultimate aim of contributing to the economic promotion and improvement of training and employment levels in La Orotava ».
