Brifor troops have declared the outbreak of forest fire declared early yesterday on the Camino de Chasna, within the municipality of La Orotava (Tenerife), as extinguished, as reported by the Cabildo.

In this sense, members of the Local Police of La Orotava, Brifor, Civil Guard and Firefighters of Tenerife had already considered the situation controlled yesterday morning.

For its part, the fire has affected an area of about 200 square meters of scrub and despite the strong wind that hit the north of the island, the rapid intervention of security personnel has prevented the spread of the fire.
