Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea and the Official College of Psychology of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (COP) are working on the practical application of a project to generate a feeling of responsible and excited community in the short and medium term future in the school population of La Palma, affected by the emotional crisis of the recent volcanic eruption, and to involve and share that feeling and responsibility with adults.
A process that will run parallel to the proposal to name the volcano, as a common thread for the participation of the school population and for the creation of a space for dialogue and emotional expression in which all the boys and girls of the The Palm.
Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea thus expresses its interest and concern for the little ones and young people of La Palma, who are especially vulnerable emotionally as a result of the recent volcanic eruption, the consequences of which remain in terms of the mental health of a large part of the population and, in particular, of the affected area, to which special attention must continue to be paid.

Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea and the Official College of Psychology (COP) of Santa Cruz de Tenerife are aware of the specific needs for psychological care that exist in La Palma and, in particular, in the Aridane Valley and in the child and youth population as a result of the recent volcanic eruption and they consider that this is a decisive moment to offer the support of specialists so that they can avoid future problems.
Through this agreement, the Official College of Psychology (COP) of Santa Cruz de Tenerife offers Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea and the town of La Palma all its professional capacity for the development and application of this project, since it is a commitment to the future from La Palma.
