This Friday, starting at 8:00 AM, a volcanic risk drill will take place in the municipality of Garachico, located in the north of the island. This initiative is part of the European EU-Modex programme for emergency protection. The island-wide exercise will involve approximately 1,000 security and emergency personnel, including the Civil Guard, National Police, Fire Brigade, Local Police, forestry agents, and the Red Cross.
