CaixaBank Dualiza Launches IX Dualiza Aid Programme to Support Innovative Vocational Training Projects
Launch of the IX Dualiza Aid Programme
CaixaBank Dualiza and the Association of Vocational Training Centres, FPEmpresa, will present the IX Call for Dualiza Aid on Monday at CIFP Las Indias. This initiative aims to boost innovative vocational training projects developed collaboratively by educational institutions and partner entities to enhance student learning. Since the commencement of this Call, centres in Tenerife have participated in a total of eleven projects spanning sustainable, technological, agricultural, and social sectors. This year, funding has increased to €460,000.
Aims of the Initiative
The primary goal of this initiative is to promote alternating training, strengthening the connection between educational environments and the business sector, and improving student employability through practical and collaborative experiences. The application period will be open from 30 September to 14 October, with selected projects to be announced in December. Applications for the aid can be submitted via the website.
New Features of the IX Edition
This new edition introduces significant improvements:
– A new categorisation of projects, distinguishing between local initiatives (up to €10,000) and network projects across autonomous communities (up to €25,000).
– A simplified evaluation matrix focusing on innovation, effective collaboration, results transfer, and environmental impact.
– Free additional training for project leaders to promote their projects, development, learning, and results.
Furthermore, the strategic objectives of the Call have been redefined. They now include promoting educational innovation, sustainability, teacher upskilling, and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Commitment to Vocational Training
Since its inception, the Dualiza Aid Programme has supported over 250 projects across Spain, benefiting thousands of students in fields such as computing, mechatronics, chemistry, commerce, and oenology. These projects have helped bring vocational training closer to strategic sectors, generating synergies between educational centres and businesses that result in more specialised training tailored to the real needs of the job market.
Paula San Luis, Director of CaixaBank Dualiza, emphasised that “this call is a key tool for connecting educational centres with businesses and providing teachers with resources that enhance student training in a context where vocational training will increasingly gain importance due to the demand for new workers and the need for updated skills among those already in the job market.”
Essential Collaboration
Luis García Domínguez, President of FPEmpresa, highlighted that “collaboration between centres and businesses is essential to define quality vocational training that meets future challenges.” He noted that each year, the Call “demonstrates the commitment of vocational training to the problems faced by society, allowing us to advance and create new models of learning.”
The programme also strengthens its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting initiatives that position people, the planet, and prosperity at the heart of each proposal. Special emphasis will be placed on the social, environmental, and economic impact of projects, alongside their capacity to transform the environment and create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
National Reference
Through this initiative, CaixaBank Dualiza and FPEmpresa reaffirm their commitment to a more connected, transformative, and future-oriented vocational training system. The Call has established itself as a national reference for promoting innovative projects that strengthen the vocational training ecosystem in Spain.
In addition to this Call, CaixaBank Dualiza continues to develop actions nationwide to raise awareness of the value of vocational training, including technical workshops, sector meetings, and career guidance programmes. These initiatives reinforce the role of vocational training as a driver of social cohesion and economic development.
Opportunity for Educational Centres
The IX Call for Dualiza Aid presents an opportunity for educational centres and their strategic partners to advance projects with real impact that address current challenges and prepare students for future demands.
