Man in Critical Condition After Cardiac Arrest on Tenerife Bus
A 65-year-old man is in critical condition after being resuscitated following a cardiac arrest on a bus in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands Government.
Emergency Response
At around 11:00 PM last night, a call to 112 alerted them to a man who had collapsed inside a public transport bus travelling along the southern motorway, near the municipality of El Rosario.
Immediate Resuscitation
The emergency services were quickly activated, and upon their arrival, medical personnel found the individual in a state of cardiac arrest, while the bus driver was performing resuscitation manoeuvres. Advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques continued, successfully restoring his pulse.
