SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 11 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, and the Lehendakari of the Basque Country, Imanol Pradales, are set to sign a bilateral agreement on the development of R&D in both autonomous communities this Thursday in Tenerife.
The official reception for the Lehendakari will take place at 12:00 at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Government, featuring a musical performance in the courtyard with a piece of instrumental fusion between Canary Islands and Basque music.
Following the customary family photograph, both presidents will sign the collaboration agreement just before 13:00, after which they will address the media.
Later in the afternoon, starting at 16:30, they will visit the Teide Observatory to view the network of telescopes and hold a meeting with Valentín Martínez, Director of the IAC (Astrophysics Institute of the Canary Islands), and Emilio García, Advisor for the Coordination of the Canary Islands Observatories (IAC).
