Two people have been injured in a collision between two vehicles on the TF-5, in the ascent to Arona, late on Monday night, according to 1-1-2 Canarias.
The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 PM when the Emergency Coordination Centre and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert about the collision of two cars.
The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, and the personnel from SUC arrived at the scene of the accident.
The paramedics attended to the two injured individuals: a 21-year-old woman and a man, both of whom initially presented with several moderate traumatic injuries. They were both transported in a SUC basic life support ambulance to the Hospital del Sur.
The other affected individual is a man who, at the initial assessment, also exhibited several moderate traumatic injuries. He was taken to the Hospital del Sur in a SUC basic life support ambulance.
The Local Police of Arona are handling the investigation.
