Don Pepe, with his wife Doña Mari. @murgaLosBambones

The laureate murga lagunera The Bambones yesterday announced the death of the one who, as they themselves defined it, “laid the first stone of what we are today”, and he did it together with his wife “Mrs. Mari.”

It is about José Jiménez, Don Pepe, founder and president of the children’s murga Las Bambas, formation that gave rise to the constitution of the adult murga Los Bambones.

On the murga’s Facebook it could be read “for being an important part of our history, for our trumpets and much more. Thank you Don Pepe! ”.
