Officers from the National Police have dismantled an active drug-dealing operation in the Juan XXIII neighbourhood of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as part of an investigation linked to drug trafficking. The detained individual has been remanded in custody as a suspected offender of a drug trafficking offence.
The operation commenced after receiving information regarding the possible criminal activities of an individual who was allegedly involved in the retail sale of cocaine and hashish. According to the investigation, the suspect conducted sales along Avenida de los Príncipes de España and around the Hospital de La Candelaria.
Once the necessary judicial authorisation was obtained, an entry and search was carried out at his home, where agents proceeded to arrest him.
During the police intervention, 231 grams of cocaine, 125 grams of hashish, and 33,040 euros in cash were seized.
The detained individual was brought before the competent judicial authority, which ordered his remand in custody.
