A man is in a critical condition after being hit by a vehicle on the TF-655 road, as it passes through Arona (Tenerife), according to the Canarian Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (1-1-2).
The incident occurred at 06:43 on the TF-655 road, at approximately kilometre point 7, as it passes through the mentioned municipality. Personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched, who confirmed that the affected individual had sustained serious multiple injuries and was transferred in a critical condition to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.
Road maintenance personnel from the Cabildo of Tenerife also attended the scene to carry out cleaning tasks on the road, as well as agents from the Civil Guard, who managed traffic on the road and prepared the corresponding report.
