A 40-year-old woman and a six-year-old boy were hospitalised this Sunday in Tenerife with moderate smoke inhalation as a result of a fire that occurred in a home in La Laguna.
According to reports from 1-1-2, the fire was detected around 6.30 pm in a property on Núñez de Balboa Street.
Firefighters evacuated all the residents of the building, extinguished the fire, and ventilated the property.
The two individuals affected by the smoke were assisted by emergency services and taken to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
