Puerto de la Cruz is hosting the fifth edition of the Puerto de la Cruz Craft Fair this Saturday and Sunday in the Plaza de los Reyes Católicos. This initiative, organised by the Cabildo of Tenerife and the Town Hall, aims to promote tradition and creativity through the exhibition of the work and crafts of 31 artisans.
The event will offer visitors a diverse showcase of the work of 31 artisans from various disciplines, all holding the official certificate issued by the Cabildo of Tenerife. The market will open its doors from 10:00 to 22:00, with a break from 14:00 to 16:00, as specified in a statement from the Cabildo.
This edition will feature creations from 17 craft categories, including almazuelas, ceramics, fabric decoration, enamelling, frivolité, jewellery, toys, macramé, leather goods, modelling, tailoring, doll-making, paper and cardboard, and traditional techniques of pottery, lacework, cigar making, and rosettes.
The venue will have 32 individual tents equipped to ensure a comfortable space for both artisans and visitors. Additionally, the organisers will provide information services, maintenance, and card payment options to facilitate purchases.
The 5th Craft Fair is also establishing itself as an essential annual event for those wishing to discover and acquire unique pieces that reflect the talent and craft traditions of Tenerife and America.
