SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE 23 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Minister of Territorial Policy and former President of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, has held the Canary Health Service responsible on Monday for the purchase of medical supplies during the pandemic and denied that he ordered a specific company to be contracted.

In an appearance before the committee of inquiry of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, he predicted that no “audio” of his containing illegalities will emerge, no matter how much many are “salivating” over a possible report from the Central Operational Unit of the Civil Guard (UCO).

He stated that in his political life he has “never asked anyone for a penny”, that he is not involved in “any scheme”, and that he has also had no contact with the alleged fixer of the ‘Koldo case’, Víctor de Aldama.
