A woman, aged 49, was injured on Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle on the General del Sur road in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred around 22:20 hours, when the 1-1-2 operations room received an alert reporting the incident, prompting Cecoes to immediately activate the necessary emergency resources to intervene in the area.
Once on site, medical staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service attended to the affected woman, who had sustained a moderate trauma to a lower limb. She required transport by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de La Candelaria.
Meanwhile, the Local Police were responsible for the report.
