Rescued from a Coastal Path in Arona after Suffering a Fainting Spell

A woman had to be rescued this Saturday by fire brigade personnel after suffering a syncope on a coastal path in the Palm-Mar area, in the municipality of Arona, as reported by the Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The incident occurred at around 13:19 when the 1-1-2 operations room received an alert reporting the incident, so Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources to intervene in the area.

Once on site, the affected individual was rescued by several firefighters and subsequently assisted by healthcare personnel from the Canary Emergency Service. She was eventually transferred to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.

Meanwhile, the Civil Guard assisted the emergency services and opened proceedings.
