The flight of the airline Binter that landed this morning at Los Rodeos airport (Tenerife North) and blocked the runway experienced a minor issue while taxiing after a normal landing.
According to the company itself, the aircraft did not present anomalies during the landing manoeuvre nor did it suffer structural damage, but it encountered difficulties in reaching the assistance point.
The technical team detected that the aircraft was not moving correctly, so a towing service was requested to move it safely.
During the time traffic was halted at Tenerife North, five flights were diverted to Tenerife South. In La Laguna, a dozen operations were affected by delays.
