Today, access to the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be limited to the Ramblas, La Salle, or Barranco de Santos. The Council reminds everyone that due to the celebration of Armed Forces Day on Constitution Avenue, presided over by the King and Queen, the main thoroughfare into the capital via the TF-4 will be completely closed to traffic from the Southern Motorway (TF-1) junction to the Hacienda roundabout. This closure began last night at 3:00 and will last until 19:00. The military parade route will run from the Recinto Ferial roundabout to the Hacienda roundabout.

Public Transport

The Council advises those wishing to watch the parade to prioritise public transport—buses, trams, and taxis—when travelling to the city centre. Notably, for Tram Line 1, from 06:00 to 18:00, the final and initial stop will be Teatro Guimerá, with Intercambiador and Fundación stops suspended. However, municipal sources highlight plans to increase service frequency to every 10 minutes between 06:00 and 21:00.

Furthermore, urban buses 014, 015, 908, 934, and 935, as well as interurban services to the north (102, 103, 10, 110, 111, 114, 120, and 122) will be enhanced, with priority lanes for public transport at Tres de Mayo. For maritime connections, vehicles can enter and exit the port via Muelle Norte, accessible via the Ramblas.

Parking

The Council also points out significant restrictions on public parking at Palmétum and Parque Marítimo, as well as in private garages on certain streets in the Cabo Llanos, Tres de Mayo, and Bravo Murillo areas.
