Fiestas de Santísimo Cristo de La Laguna 2025: Sunday 21st September, Day of the Octave and Festival Closure

SUNDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER: OCTAVE OF CHRIST

At 10:00 AM
In the Guamasa Pavilion. XXXIV CITY OF LA LAGUNA TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT.

At 11:00 AM
In the Plaza del Cristo. INSTITUTIONAL WRESTLING FIESTAS DEL CRISTO 2025.

At 12:00 PM
In the Cathedral Square XVIII CONCERT OF THE SYMPHONIC BAND OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LA LAGUNA.

At 5:00 PM
FAMILY SHOW “THE SONG OF THE JUNGLE” featuring the Miguel de Jaubert Youth Philharmonic Orchestra of Tenerife.

At 8:00 PM
EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION AND OCTAVE PROCESSION with the Venerated Image of the Most Holy Christ of La Laguna along the usual route.

At 11:00 PM
FIREWORKS OF THE OCTAVE and closing of the festivities in honour of the Most Holy Christ of La Laguna 2025.

RELIGIOUS EVENTS FOR THIS SUNDAY OF THE OCTAVE OF CHRIST

At 8:00 PM
EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION, presided over by the Most Illustrious Mr. D. Victor Manuel Álvarez Torres, Rector of the Royal Sanctuary.

The liturgical-musical accompaniment for the Holy Mass will be provided by the Epiphany Choir.

Following this, a PROCESSION will take place with the Venerated Image of the Most Holy Christ of La Laguna along the customary route. Upon arriving at the Plaza del Cristo, the Image will be displayed for the pyrotechnic exhibition, “Fireworks of the Octave.”
