Tenerife Exhibition Centre Finalises Preparations for the First Canary Islands Boat Show

The Minister of Industry and Vice-President of the Fair Institution, Manuel Fernández, oversees the preparations for this initiative, which aspires to become “a benchmark in the maritime sector in the islands.”

The Tenerife Exhibition Centre is finalising details for the opening of the inaugural edition of the Canary Islands Boat Show, an event that aims to establish itself as “a benchmark in the maritime sector in the islands.”

The First Canary Islands Boat Show will be inaugurated tomorrow (Friday, September 19), with the attendance of the Vice-President of the Cabildo, Lope Afonso, the Minister of Industry and Vice-President of the Exhibition Centre, Manuel Fernández, and the Manager of Asnáutica, Carmen Fernández Ibars.

Manuel Fernández visited the facilities of the fair institution today, where preparations for the Show are underway. This event is included in the annual program of the Exhibition Centre, funded by the Cabildo, which the Minister believes signifies “the provision of resources to consolidate the Exhibition Centre as a venue for major events, positioning Tenerife at the heart of social and economic activity in the Canary Islands.”

The First Canary Islands Boat Show will take place from September 19 to 21 at the Exhibition Centre, featuring 50 exhibitors and 60 stands, distributed across 10,000 square meters of the Grand Hall of the institution.
