Agents of the National Police have arrested a man suspected of deliberately setting fire to six vehicles in the Tenerife municipality of Adeje.
In the early hours of September 3, 2025, two fires broke out within minutes of each other on two closely situated streets in Adeje.
The fire affected a total of six parked vehicles, three of which were completely destroyed, posing a significant risk to life and personal safety.

The rapid response of firefighters, the National Police, and the Local Police ensured the flames were extinguished swiftly, preventing injuries and the spread of fire to other vehicles, buildings, and nearby vegetation.
National Police agents determined that the fire was deliberately started using an accelerant.
The investigation led to the prompt identification and arrest of a 27-year-old man with previous police records, who is suspected of the arson and has been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
