Two Injured in Collision Involving Car and Bicycles in Güímar
Accident Details
Two men were injured on Saturday morning in a collision involving a car and two bicycles on the TF-28 road, within the municipality of Güímar. The incident was reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government. The accident occurred at 10:12 AM, at which point the emergency services were alerted and resources were immediately deployed.
Injuries and Medical Response
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the two cyclists at the scene. A 48-year-old man sustained several moderate injuries, without complications, and was transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria. Meanwhile, a 55-year-old man suffered minor injuries, also without complications, and was evacuated to the same hospital in a basic life support ambulance.
Investigation
The Civil Guard has initiated the necessary investigation into the incident.
