Cabildo de Tenerife Invests Over €36,000 in Large Screen Installation
Enhancing the Noble Hall
The Cabildo of Tenerife has spent over €36,000 on the installation of a large screen in the Noble Hall of the Insular Palace, which is used for presentations and press conferences held by the Government Group. The impressive screen stands out in the Noble Hall, which is designated as a Cultural Asset of Interest, and is currently installed alongside two additional monitors that are also in use.
Modernising the Noble Hall
According to the tender, the purpose of installing the large screen is to “promote modernisation and digital transformation, fostering a more effective and efficient model of Administration.” Therefore, they consider it “necessary to equip the aforementioned Noble Hall with a complete audiovisual system to enhance the ability to display multimedia content during events held in that Hall.”
The Contract Award
The contract was tendered by the Insular Directorate of Finance with a base bid of €45,500. Four companies submitted proposals, with the contract awarded to the Barcelona-based company, Imagen y Diseño LED S.L., which presented an offer of €33,890, amounting to €36,262 when including IGIC, as detailed in the tender documents. The contract was awarded in February with an execution period of three months. The large screen, or “video wall,” was installed throughout July.
During press conferences in the hall, the screen displays the institution’s logo, name, and a moving animation. It has shown images that serve as informational resources during these press events.
