Phe Festival 2025 Celebrates a Successful Tenth Anniversary in Puerto de la Cruz
Overview of the Festival
The Phe Festival 2025 concluded this weekend in Puerto de la Cruz, marking its tenth anniversary and establishing itself as one of the premier music events in the Canary Islands. Over two days of concerts and activities, the festival drew around 10,000 attendees, meeting the organisers’ expectations with an impressive lineup featuring international, national, and local artists.
This year’s event also debuted the Phe Club space, which included the Faro and Deichmann stages dedicated to dance music.
Highlights from the Lineup
Emerging artist Judeline was a standout, making her mark as a prominent voice of a new generation. Other notable performances included New York band Nada Surf, French act Rinôçérôse, and Lanzarote’s Ale Acosta, who showcased his debut solo work, *El porvenir*. The national lineup featured acts like Dorian, Carlangas, Cycle, and Ganges, while local bands such as Los Bloody, San Tosielo, and Nave Rota received enthusiastic support from the audience.
Expanded Venue and Diverse Offerings
The festival’s expanded venue allowed for simultaneous programming across three stages, enhancing mobility and variety. In the electronic segment, the Phe Club hosted names such as Erol Alkan, Sugar Free, Posthuman, Nightwave, Alinka, and Optmino, generating substantial crowds during their sessions.
Additional Activities
The festival also included parallel programming featuring yoga workshops, health and wellness activities, extreme sports like the VI Aqualia BMX Waterjump, wine tastings with Phe Wine, and a showcase of emerging artists in the Phe Gallery.
In its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, Phe Festival reinforced its dedication to sustainability and the circular economy through the Phe Circular initiative, which involved marine clean-up efforts and an educational day. Recognised in 2024 as one of Spain’s most sustainable festivals with AGF (A Greener Future) certification, the event continues to prioritise ecological engagement.
Social Impact
Leopoldo Afonso, the mayor of Puerto de la Cruz, highlighted the festival’s social, economic, and cultural significance. Meanwhile, the councillor for Culture and Tourism, Desiré Díaz, emphasised that Phe is now “an essential part of the cultural DNA of the municipality.”
Organisers have announced that the 2026 edition will take place on 4 and 5 September, with Early Bird passes already available on the festival’s website. Phe Festival is produced by Phe Team and promoted by the Culture Department of the Puerto de la Cruz City Council, with sponsorship from the Government of the Canary Islands, Tourism of Tenerife, and the Cabildo of Tenerife, alongside private companies such as Fundación CajaCanarias, Heineken, Deichmann, Aqualia, Pepsi, Ron Guajiro, and Skoda.
