Accident in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
A 56-year-old man sustained moderate injuries on Thursday after accidentally falling onto the public road while performing maintenance work at a residence on the Carretera de Chamorga in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by 1-1-2 Canarias.
The incident occurred at approximately 13:17 hours when the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 received an alert informing them that an individual had fallen from height onto the street while working at a property in the capital of Tenerife.
The 1-1-2 promptly activated the necessary emergency resources.
Upon arrival at the scene, medical personnel from SUC assessed the injured party, who presented with a moderate traumatic injury to an upper extremity at the initial point of assistance. The individual was subsequently transported by basic life support ambulance to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital.
The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife took charge of the investigation and activated the municipal Environmental agents.
