A 30-year-old man has tragically passed away in the early hours of this Shrove Tuesday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Medical professionals attended to him next to the Tenerife Fire Consortium booth at the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena. He suffered a traumatic brain injury, reportedly sustained during a brawl. According to sources, the altercation occurred near the coastal avenues of Marítima and Francisco La Roche at approximately 5:00 AM this Tuesday.
The young man, who resided in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, suffered a cardiac arrest during the journey to the hospital. Medical staff were unable to revive him, and he succumbed while being transported.
According to close sources to the police, officers from the National Police have already apprehended the alleged perpetrator of the incident.
