The Local Police of Arona arrested two men on Friday, 15th August, for alleged offences of domestic violence at different locations within the municipality.
The first incident occurred in Las Galletas at 15:43, where a 44-year-old man was arrested following the agents’ intervention at the request of a family member of the victim. The arrest was made after the suspect admitted to assaulting his partner.
Hours later, at 20:55, the second arrest took place in the Altavista area. In this case, a 71-year-old man was apprehended after the victim made a call.
In both cases, the detainees were taken for medical assessment and subsequently transported to police facilities for the necessary legal proceedings.
