Tenerife Firefighters based in San Miguel de Abona and volunteers from Adeje were activated this Sunday, around 20:00, through a call from the Tenerife Firefighters’ Emergency Coordination Centre at 112, to alert about the fire.
The fire occurred in a golf club maintenance shed on Guaza road in the municipality of Arona.
Upon arriving at the scene, they contained the fire within the perimeter of the shed, preventing it from spreading to the neighbouring greenhouses, and proceeded to extinguish it. Agents from the Civil Guard and the Local Police were also present.
