Awarded the drafting of improvement projects for eight roads in Tenerife with €1.2 million

The Cabildo of Tenerife has recently awarded the drafting of projects and improvements on eight island roads.

The initiative, which involves an investment of over 1.2 million euros, is part of a comprehensive plan to improve the safety conditions of Tenerife’s road network.

The projects being drafted include: the upgrading of the island road TF-272, in Sobradillo, between kilometre point 1+650 and kilometre point 2+420 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife; the upgrading of road TF-82 between Santiago del Teide and Tamaimo; improvements on road TF-42 between kilometre point 7+570 and kilometre point 19+087; and improvements on road TF-64 between kilometre point 2+400 and kilometre point 4+600, in Granadilla de Abona.

Also included in the list of works is the upgrading of road TF-134 between kilometre point 6+650 and kilometre point 8+980, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife; the improvement of road safety on the old TF-13 over the Barranco Agua de Dios, in La Laguna; a pedestrian bridge on road TF-29 next to the Santa Lastenia cemetery; and the improvement and upgrading of road TF-265 between kilometre point 0+000 and kilometre point 0+800 in La Laguna, as specified by the institution in a statement.

These actions are part of a global improvement plan that encompasses over 600 kilometres of roads. The work includes the rehabilitation of the road surface, improvement of signage, stabilisation of slopes, and the adaptation of bus stops.
