A van fire mobilised the Tenerife Fire Service early this morning, activated at around 2:55 AM to respond in Costa del Silencio, in the municipality of Arona.
The emergency call, received via 112, alerted that a parked van on the public highway was engulfed in flames. The fire spread rapidly and affected nearby vehicles, causing significant material damage.
The firefighters, based at the San Miguel de Abona fire station, immediately attended the scene to extinguish the flames. The Local Police also intervened, assisting with safety measures and controlling traffic while the operation was underway.
At present, no injuries have been reported, although the causes of the fire are under investigation.
