A 43-year-old motorcyclist died on Sunday afternoon in the municipality of Icod de los Vinos, in the north of Tenerife, after colliding with a car.
According to reports from the 1-1-2, the accident occurred around 6:55 PM at kilometre 6 of the TF-42 road.
The driver of the car involved in the collision also required medical assistance and was taken to the Northern Hospital on the island with moderate chest pain.
In the case of the motorcyclist, the medical staff could only confirm his death at the scene.
