The Town Hall of Granadilla de Abona has informed this Tuesday, 22nd July, of the reopening of La Jaquita beach in El Médano, after two days of closure due to obstruction of the outfall.
Despite this good news, two other beaches in the area remain closed. These are La Batata and Ensenada Pelada.
The local authority clarifies on its social media that “the system is now functioning normally,” but reanalysis for monitoring the situation is still in process.
For this reason, it urges the public to exercise extreme caution until the analysis data improves.
