A 70-year-old woman has sustained moderate injuries this Monday with multiple contusions after being knocked down in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, reported the 1-1-2 Canarias.
The incident occurred just before 14:00 when the Emergency Coordination Centre and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received a call alerting them to a woman in a wheelchair being hit on Álvarez de Lugo Street.
Medical personnel from the SUC, who were dispatched to the scene, attended to the affected individual, who at the initial moment of assistance presented with moderate multiple contusions. She was taken by basic life support ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria.
