Lyrical Gala in aid of the Red Cross

The most prominent voices in the lyrical scene pay homage to Spanish classical music through an exciting journey through the best of zarzuela.

Dear Venezuela – Los Gofiones

DATE: Saturday 19th July

LOCATION: Teatro Leal

Los Gofiones present their new album, Dear Venezuela, at Teatro Leal. Through this energetic project, they celebrate the musical richness of this country so closely linked to the islands.

Sun Dance Family

DATE: Sunday 20th July

TIME: 11:30

LOCATION: Teatro Leal

This family dance event, organised by the Living Arts and Citizenship Laboratory of Tenerife and Neeve-Micromusic, aims for young and old to learn to take care of themselves through movement.

LOCATION: Promenade of Punta del Hidalgo

Artists José Manuel Ramos and Lucas Rojas will liven up the promenade of Punta del Hidalgo with their guitars and voices.

Live in Habana – Estrellas de Buena Vista y Más

LOCATION: Teatro Leal

Estrellas de Buena Vista y Más, under the musical direction of Pancho Amat, aims to preserve the heritage of the Buena Vista Social Club, as well as transmit the deepest roots of Cuban music and its traditions.

Singer-songwriter Chago Melián, from Punta del Hidalgo, will offer a concert where he merges melodies from different parts of the world with the traditional sound of the timple and guitar.

The mischievous podcast Solo Palique wraps up its sixth season at Teatro Leal. Keeping its usual style and format with several special guests, the winners of the 2023 Clicker Award for best podcast in the Canary Islands promise a party that will not leave anyone indifferent.

Dancer and choreographer Zrinka Užbinec brings to La Laguna a proposal inspired by the libretto of the ballet Coppélia. Her performance is constructed as a choreographic manifesto on the relationship between tenderness and violence.

You’ve Touched My Story

Following Don’t Touch My Story, comes You’ve Touched My Story, a comedy where four desperate princes try to reclaim their happy lives alongside Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, and Snow White.

III International Music Festival of Aguere

DATE: From Thursday 3rd July to Sunday 20th July

LOCATION: Ermita de San Miguel, Convent of Santo Domingo, Church of San Bartolomé de Tejina, Casino de La Laguna, Auditorio Mutua Tinerfeña La Laguna

The III International Music Festival of Aguere will offer a first-rate cultural programme for both music professionals and students, as well as the general public.

Exhibition ‘Danae’

DATE: From Thursday 3rd July to Wednesday 6th August

TIME: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00; Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:00

LOCATION: Convent of Santo Domingo

‘Danae’ features a selection of watercolours by Canary artist Laura Domínguez. Through images inspired by biodiversity and the natural spaces of the Canaries, Domínguez invites citizens to reflect on the importance of preserving them.

Exhibition ‘Written in Stone’

LOCATION: Plaza del Adelantado

‘Written in Stone’ provides a scientific view of the indigenous archaeological heritage of the Canaries, inviting citizens to explore the most significant sites of the archipelago.

Exhibition ‘The Garden of the Gods’

DATE: From Wednesday 9th July to Saturday 16th August 2025

TIME: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00; Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:00

LOCATION: Convent of Santo Domingo

‘The Garden of the Gods’ showcases a series of photographs by artist Juan Carlos Chico, where he reinterprets some of the most significant deities from various ancient cultures.

Exhibition ‘Spaces of the Canaries’

DATE: From Friday 11th July to Thursday 14th August

Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00; Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:00

LOCATION: Convent of Santo Domingo

Catalan artist based in Tenerife, Juan Mazuelas Pizarroso, a reference in the pictorial recreation of the Archipelago’s landscape, presents a new art exhibition dedicated to nature and light.
