A 17-year-old boy has been rescued this Wednesday in a serious condition with signs of drowning at the Bajamar pools in La Laguna (Tenerife), according to information from the 1-1-2 Canarias.
The incident occurred at 11:30 am when the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received a call from the lifeguards informing that they had rescued a young man who was found unconscious.
SUC personnel arrived at the scene, and after an initial assessment of the minor, he showed signs of incomplete drowning of a serious nature, so he was transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
The Local Police took care of preparing the necessary reports.
