Two seriously injured and one moderately hurt in a fire at a hotel facility in Tenerife.

Two individuals have suffered serious burns, and one has experienced moderate smoke inhalation poisoning, as a result of a fire that occurred early on Monday morning in a hotel facility in southern Tenerife that is currently not in operation.

The Emergency and Security Coordination Centre 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported that two men, one of whom is 56 years old, have been treated for smoke inhalation poisoning and serious burns, and both have been transferred to the University Hospital of La Candelaria.

Additionally, a 30-year-old woman suffered moderate smoke inhalation poisoning, leading to her being transferred to the same hospital.

The fire occurred around 03:38 hours on Monday in a hotel facility on Avenida El Jable, in the Callao Salvaje area of the municipality of Adeje.

Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Services attended to the three affected individuals at the scene before transferring them to the University Hospital of La Candelaria.
