There are milestones that signal the seasons, like the great Farra festivals, which herald the start of summer. These events feature some of the memorable moments of musical culture in Tenerife. Yesterday was the turn for La Misa, which completed another gigantic chapter filled with fun, the best avant-garde music, and nine hours of uninterrupted dancing.
La Misa is an event in itself. Edition after edition, it gathers its unbreakable legion of followers. This time under the lure of PWASA, Airrica, Toman, Skryption, Miguelle and Tons, Drummer, Barbara Lago and Shalow Boy, a new showcase of the most outstanding international DJ scene. They provided the soundtrack to a perfect equation, where good weather, good organisation, and a desire to party converge.
Yesterday’s experience in Adeje was once again framed within the superlative. The intense heat of the early afternoon did not matter. Those there enjoyed it.

Once again, more than 10,000 people were drawn by a showcase of outstanding international DJs, following the successful steps of previous editions.
The dance was embraced from the very start of the afternoon, weaving together another historic day for everyone present, an atmosphere of celebration from the first beat to the last.
La Misa is that dream place where thousands of souls surrender to the spell of music. There, the rhythm turns into smiles, hugs, toasts, and shouts of joy. It’s a collective celebration that seems to want to stop time, extending the present to merge with tomorrow. Only the end of the music closes each new chapter.
Every moment vibrates with intensity, but there are instances that rise above the rest, like when PWASA takes the lead and unleashes euphoria. However, from the first beat to the last note, La Misa keeps its essence intact: the communion between music, dance, and brotherhood.

So it was also in this edition. Techno and house, with their deep and enveloping sounds, guided the experience from start to finish, capturing the attendees in a bubble of absolute present, where nothing else matters.
Thanks to sponsorship from entities such as Turismo del Gobierno de Canarias, Turismo del Cabildo de Tenerife, Juventud del Gobierno de Canarias, Canariasviva.com and the Ayuntamiento de Adeje, La Misa has consolidated itself as one of the most important cultural and leisure references in the Canary Islands.
Each edition attracts a diverse audience: residents from different islands, visitors from the continent, and tourists who, upon discovering this festival, make it an essential part of their experience in the Archipelago. International big names like Carlos Cox, Mochakk, or Marco Carola have left their mark in the south of Tenerife and placed the island on the circuit of major European festivals.
